DMV® Scleral Lens Inserter - Vented 

The DMV® Vented Scleral Cup™ is an aid for the INSERTION of hybrid contact lenses. Hybrid lenses are made of a gas-permeable centre optical area surrounded by a soft comfort skirt.

An air channel runs through the device to disable suction. This allows a contact lens to be placed on the eye without adhering to the device. 

INSERTION - Hold the device in a vertical position and place the contact lens in the suction cup. Be sure to fill the lens with the approved solution. Carefully raise the device to the open eye and touch the lens to the eye by using a mirror 

CLEANING - Each time after using the DMV Vented Scleral Cup clean it with 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow it to air dry, then store the device in its case. Plan to replace it every 6 months. 

CAUTION: This product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergy reactions. Independent laboratory testing finds no antigenic proteins in this material. Data on file at DMV corporate offices.

The DMV® Vented Scleral Cup™ helps the wearer guide the hybrid lens straight onto the eye in a stable manner thus avoiding dropping the lens from their finger. This tool is NOT USED FOR REMOVAL of hybrid lenses.
